Human Remains Found in Manorville Woods
Suffolk County Police investigating remains, believed to have been in the woods for five years.
Human remains were found in the Manorville woods Friday evening, according to Suffolk County Police.
Police believe the remains, found about three-quarters of a mile west of Wading River Road, and 300 feet north of North Street, have been laying in the woods for about five years.
According to Suffolk County Police a man walking his dog in the woods found the remains around 6:30 p.m. A forensic anthropologist is going to aid detectives in further evaluating the remains and remove them from the crime scene, said a public information officer.
A police spokesperson was unable to elaborate on the remains, saying that a press conference is scheduled for noon on Saturday, at which point detectives may be able to specify.
The remains seem to have been found in Brookhaven Town, just across the Riverhead/Brookhaven border. The land itself where the remains were found belongs to Brookhaven National Lab, according to police, though Robert Cushman Murphy County Park is nearby.
This isn't the first time human remains have been found in the wooded, sparsely populated area of Long Island, easily accessible from the Long Island Expressway.
Partial remains of one Gilgo Beach victim, described by Suffolk County Police as Jane Doe No. 6, were found in Manorville in 2000. Remains of another victim, Jessica Taylor, were found in Manorville as well.

I think the serial killer has ties to Mannerville and the city. I know that many farmers live in the Mannerville area and frequent Green Markets in the city such as Tucker Square Greenmarket, which is not far from the area's where they pinpointed the cell phone usage of the male who called a victims sister. It is also common for Farmers to use burlap bags to cart their vegetables especially corn, some of the remains were wrapped in burlap. I also know that when commuting back to the Island during high traffic many people will cut over to Ocean Parkway to avoid traffic and enjoy the scenic route. Just a thought.

Because with the new bodies, he is just hiding them better. Deeper. He is still very much at work I'm sure, still out there slicing, dicing, and sautéing. He is watching, watching you all, aahahhhahhahhhahahhhhaaaaaaaaaaaaa. (evil laugh)
