Police Release Photos of Alleged Credit Card Thief

Police said the unknown woman spent more than $1,000 using stolen credit cards.

The Riverhead Town Police Department and Suffolk County Crime Stoppers are seeking the identity and location of an unknown the woman police said used stolen credit cards to make several unauthorized purchases of more than $1,000 in November. 

On Nov. 25, a white female used the stolen credit cards to make purchases at Schenck Fuel in Calverton, CVS Pharmacy in Wading River, King Kullen in Wading River and Alpine Wine and Liquor in Wading River, police said. The suspect is wanted for grand larceny.

Anyone with information about this crime is asked to call Crime Stoppers anonymously at 1-800-220-TIPS. All calls will be kept confidential. Suffolk County Crime Stoppers will offer a cash reward of up to $5,000 for information that leads to an arrest, according to a statement from police.
