Police Seek Info on Farmstand Thief
Suffolk County and Riverhead Police seeking information on man who stole money from a Wading River farm.
Suffolk County and Riverhead Police are seeking information about a man who stole money from Lewin Farms Stand in Wading River in mid-December.
According to police, between the evening of Monday, Dec. 19 and the morning of Tuesday, Dec. 20 a white male forcibly entered the building located at 812 Sound Ave. and removed money from the location.
Police are asking anybody with information about the subject to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-220-TIPS. All calls will be kept confidential, and a cash reward of up to $5,000 is being offered to information that leads to an arrest.

There is no way this man got money from a register. The farm closes the day before Thanksgiving. Registers are not left out with money in the when the farm closes. Registers are not left out with money in them during the open season for that matter either. All money is behind lock and key...get your facts straight. This S.O.B. better face his consequences waiting for him and Lewin's better get back all that was lost. Do people have nothing better to do than steal from an honest farm stand?!
