Police: Woman Chases Down Alleged iPad, Laptop Thief
The following information was supplied by the Riverhead Town Police Department. A criminal charge is only an accusation and does not indicate guilt.
Paul Werkheiser, 26, of Medford, was arrested on Feb. 8 on petit larceny charges on Feb. 8 after police said he stole a pair of Nike's from Famous Footwear. He was located by police on West Main Street, taken to headquarters, processed and released on a desk appearance ticket.

On Feb. 13, Kassandra James-Blond, 22, of Hampton Bays, was arrested after police said she stole roughly $61 worth of groceries and drug store items from Wal-Mart. She was processed and released on a desk appearance ticket.

Danielle Hennington, 24, of Calverton, and Vanessa Costello, 24, of Calverton, were arrested on petit larceny charges on Feb. 13 after police said they took $124 in clothing and cosmetics from Target without paying for them. They were transported to police headquarters, processed, and released on desk appearance tickets.

A 16-year-old from Wading River was arrested on petit larceny charges on Feb. 16. According to police, a woman reported that the teen came to her car with other individuals, opened her car door and took an iPad and laptop computer, valued at a total of $900. The woman caught up with the teen, recovered her items, and called police. The teen was transported to police headquarters, processed and held on $500 bail.

Lequan Fulford, 19, of Riverhead, was arrested on Feb. 16 on charges of criminal possession of marijuana in the fifth degree. According to police reports, Fulford was rolling a joint in his car while sitting in a parking lot behind Hy-Ting restaurant. He was processed and released on $250 bail.

George Psomas, 34, of Riverhead, was arrested on Feb. 19 on charges of reckless driving and fleeing police. He was transported to headquarters, processed and held in lieu of $500 bail.

Jacqueline Hollman, 60, of Riverhead, was arrested on warrants on Feb. 19 shortly after she reportedly stole tools from Auto Zone. According to reports, an employee of the store said that Hollman and two other individuals removed items, possibly socket sets, from the store before fleeing in an older Buick. Police stopped the car shortly thereafter, reportedly finding three socket sets valued at $55 on Hollman. The store refused to press charges at the time. However Hollman was shortly arrested thereafter.
