Riverhead Fans Find Front Row at Giants Parade
"News 12" coverage featured several Riverhead fans at the Giants parade.
While thousands upon thousands of Giants fans traveled into New York City for the New York Giants ticker-tape parade, one television news report featured a few residents from Riverhead who found themselves at the front of the action.
"News 12" found residents from Deer Park and Miller Place as well, though Riverhead residents reigned supreme during the segment.
"It's really good to see the city come together like this and have a big celebration," said Riverhead resident Scott Sulzer.
Stephanis Cawley left Riverhead at 4 a.m., according to the report.
“You hope it’s not a once in a lifetime, but it’s something you make sure that the kids get to see," she said.
"It’s unreal. It’s crazy," said Connor Carroll. "The atmosphere is unbelievable."
Carroll and his brother, Tyler, both made headlines last December when they were suspended after school officials said they were blocking the hallway while "Tebowing" in school hallways. Tyler said on Twitter that he didn't see any "Tebowing" - or the new thing, "Bradying" - going on at the parade.

Good for them, I was 2 deep at the 2008 parade, was high giving with Justin Tuck and Fred Robbins when the defensive lineman jumped off of their floats and started hanging with the crowd! Have some pretty great pictures of Eli and Strahan with the Lombardi Trophy as well.
Was outside of City Hall at 8 am, was totally worth it.
Was also at the 1986 Celebration at Giants Stadium in sub freezing temperatures, cold day but again well worth it!
