Riverhead, Suffolk Police Seek Info on Person of Interest

An up-to $5,000 reward has been offered for information leading to Sean Buckman, who police want to interview about an ongoing criminal investigation.

The Riverhead Police Department and Suffolk County Crime Stoppers are asking for the public’s help to identify and locate Sean P. Buckman, a person of interest in an ongoing Riverhead criminal investigation.

Riverhead police said they are looking to interview Buckman in regards to an active criminal investigation, but declined to reveal additional details about the case. 

Buckman, 22, is described as 6’1” and 170 pounds, with brown hair and hazel eyes. His last known address is on Randall Road in Ridge.

Suffolk County Crime Stoppers offers a cash reward of up to $5,000 for information, according to a statement released by Suffolk police. Anyone with information about Buckman is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-220-TIPS. All calls will be kept confidential.
