Snow has finally arrived and a winter weather advisory is in place until 6 p.m.

According to the Riverhead Police Department, a few motor vehicle accidents have occurred around town so far - one on Sound Avenue, in the Wading River area; a two-car accident on Route 58 yielding minor injuries; and a Lexus slid into the median the Long Island Expressway.

Riverhead Free Library Director Lisa Jacobs said the library is closed today. If your small business is closing early Saturday, or opening late on Sunday, due to the snow, let us know in the comments.
