VIDEO: Sunnyland Jazz Band Plays at Country Fair

The jazz band played their annual set at the Riverhead Country Fair's main stage.

The Riverhead Country Fair was a little different this year for the Sunnyland Jazz Band, who play every year on the fair's main stage.

"We've been here in freezing cold, pouring rain," joked Bob Barta, banjo player and singer for the band, "It's never been this hot."

The Sunnyland Jazz Band played at Sunday afternoon's Riverhead Country Fair, where thousands poured into downtown Riverhead on an unusually warm October afternoon. The band has been playing the Country Fair for decades and features Barta, John Klumpp on trumpet and vocals, and Bill Troiano on tuba.
