Last week, after pressing for more public input for a Route 25A corridor study, town board members heard the preliminary results of the study and granted the opportunity for more public input at a Feb. 4 public workshop.
Watch last week's work session here, and see planning firm BFJ's preliminary suggestions for what should be done to the stretch between the Brookhaven town line and Sound Avenue.
The discussion about the planning study begins in the 51st minute. The first 50 minutes contain a discussion about a multi-use life center proposed by First Baptist Church of Riverhead.
