Cool Temps, Computer Class, Town Board on Tap in Riverhead Tuesday

Take a look at Tuesday's happenings in Riverhead.

Here's what's happening in Riverhead on Tuesday.

- Bring a sweatshirt. Tuesday dawned sunny but cool, with temperatures expected to reach a high of 66 degrees.

- A Riverhead town board meeting takes place at 7 p.m. at Town Hall.

- A computer class for all levels will take place at 10:45 at the Riverhead Senior Center on Shade Tree Lane in Aquebogue.

- An exhibit, “Barren and Waste Land: Long Islanders and the Pine Barrens,” is open to the public through September 30, 2013 from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday in the lobby of the Evans K. Griffing building in the Riverhead County Center.

- The Center for Creative Retirement presents an introduction to the semester's course on comic performers, which will be followed by a presentation on the immortal comedy team, Burns and Allen. From 10 to 11:30 a.m. Next, from  noon to 1:00 p.m., the spotlight will be on the life of Director Billy Wilder whose films will be shown in a CCR film series during the fall semester.
