LIGA DE JUSTICIA DISTRIBUTES FREE THANKSGIVING TO HUNDREDS OF LONG ISLANDERS IN NEED

Over the past two days, as part of their continuing outreach assistance to the many under served on Long Island, the attorneys of Ferro, Kuba, Mangano, Sklyar and Liga de Justicia, together with the radio show Alegria al Media Dia, traveled across Suffolk County to deliver a donation of a full thanksgiving meal to over 55 Long Island families.

First, the team distributed the meals, which were filled with all the fixings to prepare the traditional thanksgiving, to 15 families at the Iglesia Inmaculada de Concepcion Church in West Hampton; (the families were selected by the church based on need). The group then went to Iglesia Adentris Septimo Dia in Riverhead, where they gave Thanksgiving packages to another 20 families. Today, they are delivering food to 20 more families in the Brentwood area who were selected by Pronto of Long Island, a nonprofit community outreach center which provides basic human services with care and compassion to those in need.
