A Few Tickets Left to 'Crazy Sports Night' Benefit

Fundraiser for New Beginnings Brendan House starts at 6:30 p.m. Friday.

After last year's first ever "Crazy Sports Night" raised funds for Christopher Timpone and Michael Hubbard, Friday night's is set and scheduled to raise funds for more sick individuals in need of a helping hand.

Only a few $5 tickets remain to be bought at the doors, which open at 6 p.m. at the high school gymnasium The event kicks off at 6:30, and will feature teams competing in events like an obstacle course, sack races, hula hoop contests and more.

This year's contest will benefit the New Beginnings Brendan House, a proposed long-term care home slated for Sound Avenue, run by Medford-based New Beginnings Community Center. Renovations on the home are expected to cost close to $200,000.
