Planting at Tuckahoe

The Tuckahoe Schools Blog gave us its weekly update of all that’s going on in the school. This week, students in Ms. Laurie Verdeschi’s Family and Consumer Science class planted crocus bulbs to beautify the school. Students wrote to Lynch’s Garden Center in Southampton and White Flower Farm in Connecticut to ask for donations of these hardy spring flowering bulbs.  They were rewarded with generous donations from both nurseries and they promptly planted 260 crocuses.
