Riverhead Patch's dog of the week is April, a terrier/lab mix seeking a new home.
April is approximately two years old, staffers say. "This girl would love to be your new exercise buddy," said Kent representative Kristan McCormick. "This goofy girl loves to run around and play, and would be a great candidate for agility training. She loves her treats -- will do anything for them."
April is easily trainable and has already learned new commands. "This little mixed breed girl could fit right in your pocket; she is only 25 pounds. She would do great in an all adult home, even maybe some teenagers to play with," McCormick said.
