Celebrate the dog days of August -- by adopting a pooch.
According to Kent Animal Shelter's Kristan McCormick, Lily is a "beautiful Lab mix," almost two years old.
"Lily is a friendly girl; she loves to be around people and is great with kids," McCormick said. "Lily would prefer to be the only dog in the household; she wants all the lovin' to herself."
