In addition, railroad-relate vendors will be onhand, and guests can also experience the Museum Exhibit Bus, presented by the Suffolk County Historical Society, as well as working machines brought by the Long Island Antique Power Association. Visitors can participate in METCA locomotive races. Participants can also ride the Long Island Railroad scoot train at 11:20 a.m., visit the RMLI Museum in Greenport, then return to Riverhead at 2 p.m.

Refreshments will be available.

The RMLI will be open from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Admission for adults 13 and over is $8, and $5 for children five - 12 years old. Children under five are free. LIRR scoot tickets can be purchased separately onboard the train from the LIRR conductor, with no surcharge. Admission to the Riverhead Railroad Festival allows guests to see both RMLI sites on the same day of purchase.
