Rich Daly, who shattered a Guinness World Record for the “Fastest Time to Carve 60 Ice Sculptures" in October, will be performing in Jamesport on Saturday.

Daly, a culinary arts teacher at William Floyd High School, won the honors after beating out Richard Bubin's record, which was set in January 2002. Daily carved 60 ice sculptures in 2 hours and 52 minutes and 12 seconds to win the title.

Daly has also won awards at some 100 ice carving events across the United States and holds 40 medals from the National Ice Carving Association.

Daly, a professional ice carver for the past ten years, will perform on the lawn of the  Sherwood House Vineyards from 1:00 p.m.to 5:00 p.m. doing what he does best — carving ice.

" We couldn't be more excited to have Rich with us on Saturday and we can't wait to enjoy the festivities with you all," said the vineyards on Facebook.

The event will also feature Crumb Delites' cheesecakes and brownies and wine tasting. In addition Sherwood House oak barrels will be on sale for $100 each.
