Riverhead High School students will participate in the annual ALS Ride for Life. Chris Pendergast, a victim of ALS and one of the organizers of this event, who was a speaker at Riverhead High School recentl, will ride his motorized wheelchair to Manhattan. This year's ride will start in Riverhead. Student government officers are selling bracelets for $3 each. The money raised from this effort will be donated to the Ride for Life. Student government officers will be walking part of the way with Mr. Pendergast and the other ALS riders. Please contact student government adviser Theresa Drozd at 631-369-6724 for more information.
