Feb. 22: School Break Activities

Take a look at what's going on this Tuesday around Riverhead.

1. Liz Casey with is hosting an improv workshop throughout school break starting today. Geared toward 9-12 year-olds, the will help students find their inner spontaneous-selves. Running from 9-11 a.m., from Tuesday through Friday, the workshop is $80 for EEAC members and $120 for non-embers.

2. Also part of the EEAC's winter break course offerings is , today's "mini"-themed course available to two different age groups. Ages 7+ will meet from 10:00 - 11:00 this morning, while ages 4-6 meet from 11:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. The course is $10 for members and $15 for non-members.

3. Parents can also bring the (younger) kids by the Riverhead Free Library from 11:00 - noon this morning for a . The free interactive activity will teach kids aged 2 1/2 - 5 years old using stories, music, and other various forms. Registration is required.
