First Baby of 2012 at PBMC Born to Mattituck Couple

Riverhead welcomed its first baby to 2012 late this year, as William Havens Meringer was born on Wednesday, Jan. 3 at .

Meringer is the son of Courtney and Amos Meringer, of Mattituck, and he'll have an older sister, Katherine, who is two and a half years old.

William was born at 12:46 p.m., coming in at a size of 8 pounds, 14 ounces, and 21 inches long.

His mother is a staff coordinator at and his dad owns a construction company.
