Father's Day is this Sunday, June 19. If you're still looking for someplace to take Dad or Grandpa for a nice meal to celebrate, check out what Riverhead Patch's top picks are for this Father's Day.
- J&R's Steak House is located in Calverton on Route 25. It is home of the 76 oz. Steak Challenge. See if Dad is up for the challenge this Father's Day – if he can meet the challenge and consume the 76 oz. steak in under one hour it's free. He will also get his name on J&R's Wall of Fame and a free 76 Club T-shirt. This Saturday's specials include: 7 oz. filet mignon & 1/2 rack of ribs $17.99, 12 oz. J&R's steak & lobster tail $18.99. - Blackwell's restaurant is located in Wading River, at Great Rock Golf Club. Take Dad this Saturday for brunch and a free round of golf. The brunch buffet is served from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. and includes: omelet station, prime rib carving station, assorted pastries, fresh fruit, juice, coffee and tea. $34.95 per person plus tax and service, children under 10 eat free. Reserve a table for four or more full paying guests and receive a free round of golf for Dad. Reservations are required, and can be made online or by calling 631-928-1800.

- Desmond's Restaurant and Pub is located in Wading River, inside The Inn and Spa at East Wind. Take dad to brunch this Saturday from 9:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. There are omelets made to order, entrées, Belgian waffles and desserts. Mimosas and pub beverages will be available after noon. $21.95 per person, $12.95 per child under 10 plus tax and service charge. Reservations are recommended.
- Giorgio's Catering is located in Baiting Hollow, overlooking Long Island Sound. With views of the Baiting Hollow Club golf course Giorgio's is the perfect spot for brunch this Father's Day. Deluxe Sunday brunch will be available from 10:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. with complimentary mimosas or bloody marys and live piano music. $25.95 per adult, $16.95 per child age 3-12. Reservations are required.
