Have You Seen 'Mike Love?'

Has this man, who has been known as "Rusty" and other names, approached you? Let us know in the comments section.

Ever since a man claiming to be approached a young Riverhead woman on Saturday, telling her he could get her on "American Idol," residents have come forward to say the man has a history of assuming famous -- and false -- identities.

"The same man in your picture pretended to be 'Jackie the Jokeman Taylor' from the Howard Stern show about three months ago while attempting to purchase a vehicle from me at Riverhead Ford. Wonder who he will pretend to be next? Unbelievable!" wrote Tom Edge on Riverhead Patch.

Caitlin Padeletti, who is friends with Amy Wesolowski, the woman urged by "Love" to on "American Idol" during the event, said the man was also hailed by friends as "Rusty," leading some to believe he could be Rusty Stevens of "Leave it To Beaver" fame.
