July 27: Fundraiser for Michael Hubbard

1. Eagle's Landing at Calverton Links will be at 6 p.m. to benefit Michael Hubbard, the Riverhead boy who was badly burned in a gel candle accident. The fundraiser will feature a buffet dinner, 50/50 raffle, chinese auction and music. Proceeds will go towards paying Hubbard's medical expenses. Tickets will cost $60.

2. The will host a new free "" for children at the library today at 2 p.m. This week's event will teach children about animals across the globe.

3. The 's free weekly continues tonight at 6:30 p.m. Beginners are welcome.
