March 11: Art, Grass Show, the Grange, and Jazz

1. Do you have a greenthumb? With warmer weather approaching perhaps you're starting to get the itch. Long Island Native Grass Initiative is hosting the , from 8:30-4:30 at Suffolk County Community College.

2. At the Riverhead Free Library, teens will display their art from 5:00-7:00 tonight. The  will be dedicated to the former Riverhead teacher. For information on donating to the Vincent Nasta Foundation, click here. 

3. The latest 'Save the Grange' lecture takes place tonight at 6:30 to benefit the Northville Grange. John McFarland will present his lecture, Refreshments will be served, and all donations will go to benefit repairs at the Grange. 

4. At Hilton Garden Inn, Jazz on the Vine will host its Friday Winterfest Warmup tonight at 7:00. The will be performing free at the hotel bar as a lead-in to the weekend's jazz performances.
