New CFO Joins The Retreat

Patrice Dalton, a former executive at large pharmaceutical and biotech companies, will help run the finances at the domestic violence services agency.

The Retreat, a domestic violence services agency with offices in Riverhead, has named Patrice Dalton, its new Chief Financial Officer.

Dalton, who was an executive serving large pharmaceutical and biotech companies, actually came across the job opportunity while researching the best way to donate furniture to The Retreat. “Thesurprise of finding that job announcement—and the timing of it—was just unbelievable,” Dalton said.

The CFO position opened after Jennifer Critcher announced plans in late 2013 to leave the position at year-end after more than a decade.
