New Western-themed BBQ Event Comes to Harbes
A new western-themed barbecue event is planned for the Harbes Western Farm in Jamesport.
Harbes Western Farm in Jamesport is launching a new event on July 20 that'll give guests a taste of the wild, wild West.
The new Harbes Western Family BBQ is a western-themed "chuck wagon style" outdoor family barbecue dinner that will take place from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. In addition to the dinner, which includes pulled pork, spare ribs, hot dogs, roasted super sweet corn, grilled vegetables, salads and dessert, a full slate of family games and family activities has been planned.
The event will feature singing, hay rides, working border collie demonstrations -- kids can play with the dogs after the performance -- music, pony rides, a bounce-house and roping lessons on how to lasso a make-believe steer.
Tickets cost $24.95 or adults and $19.95 for kids under 12. Additional beverages are available for a fee. Tickets are available at the Harbes Western Farm in Jamesport and at Harbes Family Farm at 715 Sound Avenue in Mattituck.
