Oct. 30: Arts, Chili, Rugs, and Almost Halloween

Take a look at what's going on around Riverhead this Saturday.

1. The first day of the Peconic Ruggers' Show and Sale starts this morning at 10:00 a.m. Held at the Hallockville Museum and Farm on Sound Avenue, the Ruggers' Show will host rug vendors and refreshments. If you're looking for something to keep you warm as colder months approach, here would be a good place to find some hand-made goods.

2. Art Sites on W Main Street celebrates the opening of its 'Other Worlds' Exhibition this evening from 5:00 - 7:00. 'Other Worlds' features the work of Micheline Gringas, Scott McIntire, Sylvia Newman, and Judith Robinson-Cox, and will run until Dec. 19.

3. Looking to show off your costume? The Women of the Moose are hosting a Halloween Dinner starting at 6:30 and the Senior Center is hosting its Third Annual Halloween Party which starts at 6:00.

5. The North Fork Environmental Council is hosting its annual Chili Night this evening from 7:00 - 10:00 at Martha Clara Vineyards. Admission is $45 at the door.
