Enjoying the sunshine and beautiful weather, crowds of fun seekers turned out Saturday for the 59th Annual Mattituck Lions Club Strawberry Festival.
And the star of the show was the juicy, red strawberry -- with shortcake, pie, chocolate-dipped, and daiquiris all created from everyone's favorite fruit.
Highlights of the day included a gathering of Strawberry Queens from years' past -- and the crowning of this year's winner, Southold's Leah LaFreniere.
