Riverhead Library Wants New and Handmade Mittens, Hats and Scarves
The library is holding a collection drive for those in need in the community.
The Riverhead Library has put out a call on its Facebook page for new or hand-made mittens, gloves, hats, scarves and socks.
The library is holding a collection drive through Dec. 13.
All donations will be placed on a "mitten tree" with all items collected to be donated to community members in need.
