PHOTOS: Santa Arrives in Riverhead for Downtown Parade

The Lions Club annual Christmas parade brings the holiday spirit to downtown Riverhead.

Saturday afternoon Riverhead residents lined Main Street to welcome Santa to town at the annual Lions Club Christmas parade.

The parade kicked off at 1 p.m. and featured the Riverhead High School Marching Band, town officials, police and firemen, and service men and women. 

The highlight of the parade was Santa's arrival.

Town Supervisor, Sean Walter presented Santa with the key to Riverhead, following which children were able to visit with Santa and share their holiday wishes.
