Week Ahead: Christmas Movies, Breakfast with Santa, Adoption Fair

Here's what's coming up this week in Riverhead:

- Breakfast with Santa takes place on Saturday at the Long Island Aquarium & Exhibition Center in Riverhead.  Seatings at 10 a.m., noon, and 2 p.m.Kids and families can enjoy mascots, a buffet breakfast in the Sea Star Ballroom, an educational talk and a craft session to create a holiday keepsake. Bring your cameras for a photo with Santa. Children three to 12 and seniors 62 and over, $34.95; members, $29.95. Adults, $39.95; members, $34.95. Children two and under are free. Reservations required. Call 631-208-9200, ext. H2O (426). All prices plus tax.

- Adoption fair at Agway: The Southampton Animal Shelter will host an adoption event on Saturday at 11 a.m. at Agway, located at 1122 Osborn Avenue in Riverhead. 

- Head to the Suffolk Theater on Saturday for a "Polar Express" Saturday Brunch with Santa, plus a movie. Movie Tickets $5 ages 3 and up available at the box office. Movie and Brunch: Children ,$17.50; Adults, $30. Doors Open at 10:30 a.m. for Brunch with Santa. Movie begins at noon. Parties of five or more, please call ahead for reservations. The event also takes place on Sunday, with the movie at 1 p.m.

- Also at the Suffolk Theater on Saturday at 3 p.m., watch the movie "Arthur Christmas," based on the adventure's of Santa's youngest son Arthur, as he embarks on a magical quest revealing the answer to every child's question as he rushes to deliver the final gift and save Christmas. Movie tickets: $5 ages three and up. Doors Open at 2:30 p.m. Movie begins at 3 p.m. Adult and children's menu available for purchase. Tickets only available at the box office.

- And also at the Suffolk Theater Saturday and Sunday, watch the holiday classic "It's A Wonderful Life" on the big screen. Movie tickets $5, ages three and up. Bar and restaurant open at 6:30 p.m. Movie begins at 8 p.m. A la carte menu available for early dining. Tickets only available at the box office.
