: I second this! And third it too.

: Do you see how foolish you look suing your own town for something that YOU CAN NOT WIN! You are actually suing yourself and the rest of the taxpayers of Riverhead. THere is not a judge anywhere that will stop a land owner from developing his/her land.

: Enoughalready: did you know that the town of Riverhead spent your taxes on a study to do with Wading River corridor it didn't even wait to hear the results of? Taxpayers must be furious about this waste of money. I am. As for holding government including town accountable to us all, I'm glad we live in a democracy and in a country known for this, so that we can all speak out and be heard. I don't consider it foolish to exercise these democratic rights. Did you read the letter about the town spending our tax money on findings with incorrect figures and then basing their decisions on these inaccuracies? Is this not foolish and wasting our tax money?

: PS in last sentence of my letter, I was referring to Jamesport village. Did you know that the town spent our tax money on findings and got figures WRONG? Did you know that not only haven't they acknowledged this but they made a decision based on these inaccurate figures? THAT'S wasting our money. If you buy property without the right zoning it's a chance you take. Did you know that this town has zoning it ignores? Based on, for example, its own master document it spent our money on just to ignore?

: I agree with enough, you are wasting our tax dollars and he is right as Riverhead Center is a great example, you will not find a judge that will stop a land owner from developing their property. You may delay them while wasting tax dollars but you will fail in stoping them. EVA why don't you purchase these properties if you care so much? Hahaha!!!

:Dear Oldfarmboy, Those talking about tax wasting, did you red above about the town's tax wasting and if so isn't this of concern? Also, oldfarmboy and enoughhalready perhaps you can tell me/us your names as you know/use mine? I respect your opinions and hope you respect mine! I also respect the truth which is why it's important, for example, to get to the bottom of inaccurate figures on which basis town board decisions have been made. Surely, they and you want to know thte truth? If not, why not?

: SMALL HOLDINGS FARM MAIN ROAD WHERE DO WE SEND THE CHECK TO HELP WITH THIS PROJECT???????

: I am considering starting a legal fund to fight the individuals who want to stop this project! I will post the info in a later post. I have been approached by several hundred residents who want development.

: Right Julius... I mean "Whatsrightisright". Several HUNDRED residents have approached you, you anonymous poster. I'm betting that none of them are aware of the empty storefronts already in downtown Jamesport. (Not a typo. Jamesport has empty storefronts.)
