The East End Arts Council has organized a Holiday Window Decorating Contest in Downtown Riverhead in December. A $500 cash prize will be awarded to the winning window display, which will be voted on by the public.
An application including sketch of design and $25 fee is required. Window spaces will be assigned on a first-come first-serve basis. Holiday themes must be suitable for family viewing.
Voting will take place from Dec. 4 through Dec. 22. Ballots can be picked up at the East End Arts Gallery.
