Join Phoenix and friends on Sunday afternoons * 4:00 pm - 5:00 pm.Reiki is not a religion.  In no way does it conflict with any religion or belief system.  Reiki is Spiritual in nature.  It is UNIVERSAL LIFE FORCE ENERGY.The use of Reiki and Therapeutic Touch therapies is used inter-nationally in hospital and health facilities.  Reiki has been know to reduce stress and pain.  Used for chronic and acute conditions on all levels; physical, emotional, and mental. Reiki sessions assist patients in pre/post surgical procedures with relaxation and a timely manner of healing with a minimum of discomfort.At the Reiki Circle held at Green Earth Natural Foods, is a wonderful way to experience Reiki for the first or hundredth time.  During these "mini" sessions the practitioner will either gently touch the receiver or have their hands slightly above their body.  Many recipients notice heat coming from the practitioners hands, a coolness, or tingling.  Even when there is no sensation, Reiki is working.  As practitioners, we are "transmitters" or "channels" for the Reiki energy, though it is the recipients own body wisdom that regulates the intensity and direction of where it is needed most.A guided visualization/meditation with gentle music assists in setting an atmosphere of relaxation and gentleness.There is no cost, however, all donations are received in gratitude.
