Feb. 10: Basket Weaving, iPods, and Concerts

1. Michael's is holding another Valentine's Day craft class today. From 6:00 - 8:00 tonight, the craft store will be holding a class on .
2. Hallockville Museum Farm is hosting a starting tonight. The classes, which will be held on Thursday evenings from 6:30 - 9:00 for the next 2 weeks, is open to 10 people, so sign up quickly is you're interested. The cost is $60 plus the cost of materials, for which students will be able to craft a medium-sized basket with an oak handle.
3. Ever wonder what those wacky, small rectangular things are that kids walk around with that cord that leads up to their ears? If you have, and you happen like music, consider stopping by at the Riverhead Free Library this morning from 9:30 - 10:30. Even if you know what they are and haven't quite figured them out yet, this could be a good catch.

4. The Indie Teen Concert Series at continues tonight with East Hampton/Shelter Island trio Human Errror and Center Moriches duo The Entertainment. The show begins at 7:00, and tickets are $5 in advance and $6 at the door. Click for a video from last month's show, which featured a Riverhead High School choral ensemble and classical orchestra.
