Jan. 27: Snow, Games, a Concert and Wine

Take a look at what's going on around Riverhead this Thursday.

2. is scheduled for 10:30. On the agenda (which is attached as a photo) for discussion is recreation parking fees, a zoning issue, and a joint town committee for the community preservation fund. In the early afternoon, Supervisor Sean Walter will host a press conference to announce new initiatives being taken to develop the EPCAL property.

3. If the roads are safe enough to get out of the house with the family this evening, take a ride over to Borders for its at 6:00.

4. If board games don't interest you, maybe a night of classical music could be a nice way to get out of the house for a bit. Riverhead High School students performing in a choral group and and orchestral ensemble will play tonight at as part of its Indie Teen Concert Series. The show starts at 7:00, and tickets are $5 in advance or $6 at the door. For more info, check out Pat Rogers' on the young musicians from earlier this week. 

5. Looking for a relaxed atmosphere to brush up on your wine knowledge? Michael Anthony's Food Bar in Wading River is hosting an educational wine dinner tonight at 7:00. Call for details.
