PHOTOS: Music Idol Rocked on the River

On Saturday evening hundreds of people gathered for Rockin' on the River 2011. The event was organized by Music Idol Entertainment and sponsored by the Riverhead Business Improvement District, the Riverhead Chamber of Commerce and the Long Island Aquarium and Exibition Center.   

Kids ages 10-18 performed for the crowd singing songs from LeAnn Rimes, Katie Perry and Taylor Swift to name a few.  Singers had previously auditioned to get into the show a week prior.

The show kicked off at 6 p.m. with a special performance by One Love.  One Love has topped radio station Z100's Hit List for weeks with their song Get Up and Go.
