Local Job Fair, Thursday, May 10

I will be hosting a local job fair with Suffolk County Department of Labor on Thursday, May 10 at Suffolk County Community College’s Eastern Campus. The event will run from 10 a.m. until 1 p.m. and take place in the Peconic Building, located at 121 Speonk Riverhead Road, Riverside.  I strongly encourage anyone looking for employment to join us for this event. 

This is a terrific opportunity for our region’s college graduates and skilled workers to land their first job or find a new and rewarding opportunity.  There will be a number of employers from various fields at this event.

Employers attending the event include: Tri-County Home Nursing Services Inc., Stop & Shop, SCO Family of Services, Manpower, Utopia Home Care, Developmental Disabilities Institute, Briarcliffe College, FedEx, Suffolk County Civil Service Department, United States Navy, U.S. Customs and Border Protection, Suffolk County Community College’s High Technology program, Advanced Manufacturing Training Center and others.

Employers may conduct interviews on the spot, so come prepared and dress for success.  Bring a copy of your resume as well.
