McGann-Mercy Students Walk to Raise Money for Breast Cancer Research & Awareness

Students from McGann-Mercy participated in the NFBH Coalition's Annual 5K Walk for Breast Cancer Awareness. In addition to walking, the Mercy team raised $295 in support of the Coalition's activities.

On September 25th, members of the Sr. Euphrasia Chapter of the National Honor Society at Bishop McGann-Mercy Diocesan High School participated in the North Fork Breast Health Coalition’s Annual 5K Walk for Breast Cancer Awareness. The team was comprised of current Mercy students, as well as alumna Rachel Regula, who organized the first “Wear Pink” fundraiser for the school during her time at Mercy, and the organization’s faculty advisors. In addition to walking, the Mercy team raised $295 in support of the Coalition’s activities.
