10 New Year's Parties

Check out these parties and events that will make ringing in the new year unforgettable!

 2010 is coming to a close and it is time to celebrate the previous year and the year to come. Check out these local events and parties where you can count down to the new year!

1.

Greenport Village's Holiday Celebration will ring in the new year with explosion in the sky at Mitchell Park and Marina. This is a family friendly celebration! Bundle up and bring blankets and hot cocoa and enjoy the count down with fireworks! 631-477-2200.

2. Ringing in the New Year at

Begin your night by dining at the hotel's restaurant with a five course Prixe Fixe dinner from 6- 9 p.m. for $72 per person. Then venture to The Indigo Ballroom to partake in "New Year's Eve at the Indigo Jazz Lounge." For $125 per person guests will be able to listen to vocalist Gail Storm and her quartet and be able to indulge in a premium open bar, a raw bar, and more. Storm will perform from 7 p.m. - midnight while a DJ will spin from midnight until 4 a.m. 631-369-2200.

3. Live Music with Nina Et. Cetera

On New Year's Eve start celebrating early by taking in the music of Nina Et. Cetera at the from 6-9 p.m. 631-765-0200.

If you are looking for a family friendly event to ring in the new year, this is a perfect option. will feature a DJ, light show, dinner buffet, cocktail hour, dessert and ice cream bar, topped off with a mock-midnight toast with champagne and sparkling cider. This party is for mature audiences only! Those of you 21 and older can enjoy four hours of unlimited bowling at East Hampton Bowl, shoe rental, buffer, party favors and a champagne toast at midnight. The cost is $50 per person. Strike your way into 2011!
