The North Fork has no shortage of farm markets, but for Riverhead residents who would like serve up a dinner full of local produce without having to travel too far down Route 25, Aqueboque's is the spot.

Located just past the Long Island Wine Country signs that traditionally mark the gateway to the North Fork, Bay View is one of the larger farm stands in the area.

On the outside of the market stands are rows of garden flowers, most from local greenhouses, ready to be planted.

Then there's the main room of the market, full of local fruits and vegetables in season, as well as produce from outside of Long Island. In spring local asparagus is the focus, though there are plenty of other options.

Bay View also features fresh pies and pastries, local cheeses, eggs and Long Island duck from . For $15 you can take home a whole bird.
