Company Files Papers for Water Skiing Facility at EPCAL

"Riverhead News-Review" reports facility proposes using electric cables to pull water skiers.

According to a report on the Riverhead News-Review, a company looking to build a water skiing facility at Enterprise Park at Calverton recently filed papers with the Department of Environmental Conservation, and written comments on the project will be accepted until Feb. 18.

The filing comes shortly after Riverhead Town Board members voted to to help improve the industrial park's image.

The report quotes one of the owners of the company as saying it, "will be one of the nicest places in the Northeast to go."
