Slow Food Halloween Crawl

Slow Food East End has organized an evening of food, drink, art, history and Halloween partying in the downtown area. Costumes are option for this "Slow Food Halloween Crawl."

Those participating should meet at the East End Arts Gallery at 4 p.m. for some art viewing. The winners of the East End Arts Gallery show will be on display. The Lenz Winery will serve wine.

Then, the group will walk over to for some appetizers and Pumpkin martinis.

Next on the "Halloween trail" is for Greek appetizers and wine from .

will serve a main course with wine from Macari Vineyards.

Finally, dessert will be served in the lobby of the Suffolk Theatre. What's the dessert you ask? None other than an ice cream float, compliments of Snowflake Ice Crea Shoppe bathed in Porter from Long Island Brewery. Cookies from the students at the will also be served.

Participants have to RSVP with Jeri Woodhouse at the number below and reserve a space with a credit card. The cost is $65 for Slow Food members, $80 for non-members.
