Garden of Eve To Hold First Annual Oktoberfest

The farm's first-ever Oktoberfest on October 19 and 20 from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

The Garden of Eve's year after year successful garlic fest has led the owners of the organic Sound Avenue farm to start up a new festival. 

Owners Eve Kaplan and her husband Chris, are hosting the farm's first-ever Oktoberfest on October 19 and 20 from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. each day.

The new event, according to the farm's website, will feature Long Island craft beer, pumpkin picking, farm tours, and vendors.

Brewers represented during the craft bear tasting, include Greenport Harbor Brewing Co., Rocky Point Artisan Brewers, Long Ireland Brewing Co., Blind Bat and Port Jefferson Brewery.

The two-day event will also offer live music; garlic foods with 8 varieties of garlic to eat and plant; farm animal petting; hayrides; and fiber arts. 

Admission is $3 per person and children under 6 are free.

The garden of Eve 40-acre farm is located at the end of Northville Turnpike in Northville.
