100 percent of proceeds from Jingle Mingle will go to Long Island charities supporting disaster recovery.

Decking the halls at the Hotel Indigo in Riverhead this year will mean doing a good deed for those struggling to recover after Hurricane Sandy.

This year, the Hotel Indigo will donate the proceeds from its annual Jingle Mingle holiday party to Long Island charities that support disaster recovery from Hurricane Sandy.

The event, which features dinner prepared by Hotel Indigo executive chef James Junk and music by DJ Tommy Tunes, takes place on Dec. 13 in the Hotel Indigo Ballroom from 7 p.m. to 11 p.m. A 7 p.m. cocktail hour is followed by dinner at 8 p.m.
