According to Newsday Monday is star chef Lia Fallon’s final day as executive chef at The Riverhead Project in Riverhead. Fallon, one of Newsday's 2014 all-star chefs, came on board last June, a week after leaving Jedediah Hawkins Inn in Jamesport (where her tenure was less than five months).
Fallon first came to prominence on Long Island at Amarelle in Wading River, which closed in January 2013.
Fallon’s next gig is executive chef of Brewology, a new gastropub slated to open later this year at 295 Montauk Hwy. in Speonk, the site of a number of restaurants, including Mahagony's and Jack & Diane's.
