Upisland Radio Stations Plot Potential Move Downtown

Four Ronkonkoma-based stations are considering a move to Riverhead, according to a story in the News-Review.

The owner of four Ronkonkoma radio stations is considering moving into downtown Riverhead, according to a story in the Riverhead News-Review on Thursday.

The stations, WBON, WRCN, WJVC and WPTY, would be based in a building in downtown, owner John Caracciolo told the paper. Caracciolo has already scouted locations and is reportedly in talks with the Riverhead Business Improvement District.
