Peconic River Yoga Moves To Aquebogue

Have you seen Peconic River Yoga's new location?

Peconic River Yoga has some new digs.

The business moved in May from East Main Street in Riverhead to its new address at 740 Main Road in Aquebogue, connected to the Esprit de France store -- with a special offer of a first month unlimited for new students.

Owner Kate Alesio, M.A. was voted by Dan's Papers in 2010 as one of the best yoga teachers in the area.

Peconic River Yoga  offers many different styles of yoga which include Integral, Kripalu, Vinyasa, Sivananda and Iyengar.

Classes are offered 7 days a week throughout the day. Clients are asked to arrive 10-15 minutes before a class and to keep conversation to a minimum before and after class in order to allow time to enter or stay in the spirit of yoga. According to the website, classes include a combination of asanas (postures), pranayama (breathing practices), sanskrit chanting, yoga philosophy, meditation, and deep relaxation. Class schedules can be located here.
