The Long Ireland Beer Company, which, celebrated its grand opening on Saturday. Saturday also happened to be the half-way point to St. Patrick's Day, a day much revered by beer drinkers and the Irish alike.
An exact head count was hard to get a hold of - admission was free - but both co-owners Greg Martin and Dan Burke said the showing was far more than they had expected.
"We were probably getting 12 to 15 calls a day asking questions about it," Martin said. "'Can we bring our kids?' 'What's the cost of admission?' So if we're getting that many calls, that's probably just a small slice of the people here."
Bangers and Mash performed live in the brewery, and Mapletree BBQ offered a food option for guests.
