Say Yes to The Wedding: Bridal Expo Headed Downtown

Blushing brides and dashing grooms can say "yes" to the wedding plans as a bridal showcase heads to downtown Riverhead.

Atlantis Banquets & Events will host a bridal showcase on September 18 from 6:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at the Sea Star Ballroom at Long Island Aquarium & Exhibition Center, and at the Hyatt Place East End & Resort Marina, hotel adjacent to the venue.

“This event showcases Atlantis Banquets & Events as one of the most unique and premier venues for weddings and receptions in all of Long Island,” Tony Cotignola, director of sales, said. “We understand that every couple has high expectations and this event gives us that opportunity to show you how we can exceed those expectations.”

The waterfront venue can accommodate weddings involving 20 to 650 guests, in settings including the Sea Star Ballroom, on the Peconic, and the outdoor Riverside Pavilion, for cocktail parties.  

At the showcase, brides and all event planners will be able strategize, dream, or get down to serious business and finalize plans for the big day in a one-stop setting.

Vendors from all facets of the bridal industry will be onhand, including photography, fashion, floral design, entertainment, room set-up, able decor, and food.

To that end, a culinary team will provide a wide range of menu items for sample, including hor d’oeuvres, food stations, dessert and wedding cakes. Champagne will also be served. 

Guests can enter to win a chance for a three-night honeymoon stay at the Verandah Resort & Spa in Antigua.
